Biography:

Teela is a central character in the Masters of the Universe franchise, first appearing in the 1983 Filmation cartoon series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

She is presented as the adopted daughter of Duncan, the Man-At-Arms, and serves as Captain of the Royal Guard at the Eternos palace. Fiercely loyal and highly skilled in combat, Teela is initially unaware of her true origins.

Later in the series, it is revealed that Teela is the biological daughter of the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, destined to eventually succeed her mother as the protector and guardian of the castle and its secrets. In some versions of the franchise, it is hinted or explicitly stated that she is a literal Goddess, embodying the power of Grayskull.
